Steller Property

The Finca Steller Visitor Center is located at an elevation of 600-700 m. It has 4.5 kilometers of trails in excellent condition to a viewpoint with a spectacular view of the San Carlos Plains and a waterfall. Finca Steller is home to our reforestation nursery and environmental education program.

We offer you:

• Self-Guided Hike (trail map)
• Guided Day Hike, with prior reservation (minimum 2 people)
• Native tree nursery
• Environmental education classroom

Access: by 4x4 vehicle to the Visitor Center

Additional information: By car, 10 minutes from La Tigra de San Carlos, 30 minutes from La Fortuna de San Carlos

Important notes: Trails on natural surface, of different levels of difficulty (moderate and difficult)

Recommendations: We recommend wearing rubber boots or closed shoes, long pants, a jacket or raincoat, and water.
